The absolute best part is being able to see my vision come to life. And what's great? It happens again and again at so many times during the process.
It's at the beginning of the process when the story begins to take shape in the script; In pre-production, during the casting process, when you recognize the face of the character that you put together in your head (or open your mind to WHO the character really should and can become); In production, when you start to see how the characters and story become visible from page to real life; And finally, in post, when the story unfolds before your eyes.
Emotional? Yes. Exhilarating? Absolutely! And it's such an amazing experience to have with each story, each shoot and with everyone that comes together to make it happen.
